Born in 1955 I spent my childhood in Kent, first in the small village of Ightham then moving to Canterbury and then finally to Tenterden. In 1971 I joined the RAF as an Air Photography Operator, and then taking an advanced course as a Ground Photographer. The highlight of my RAF service was being selected as The Red Arrows Photographer (1979 - 1981). On leaving the RAF in 1985 I spent a few months as the Senior Photographer with the National Radiological Protection Board before running the Photographic Department for the Wiltshire Police. In 1999 I returned to my roots as a Ministry of Defence Photographer working for the RAF. Living in the town of St. Ives in Cambridgeshire I am married with one daughter.
