Modifying the Spektrum DX8 Battery Socket

Because I like to remove my battery for cycling. I have made up a simple lead to take normal Futaba / JR style plugs. The reason for this is that the small JST-EHR PCB mounted socket I thought would be a weak point for plugging and unplugging. This mod solves the problem with no alteration to the TX PCB. I’m surprised it has not be done before. I got my JST-EHR (male) on a 120mm lead from www. component-shop.co.uk for 50p.

Really must get round to taking a better photo, but this will do for now
